Our interpretation of a rosé wine takes its cue from international tradition, particularly the French one which considers Merlot grapes among the most suitable for the production of this type of wine; in Italy, Merlot, introduced in the mid-nineteenth century, found ideal environmental conditions in many northern regions. In Sicily it arrived around the eighties of the last century, proving to have a truly surprising adaptability.
